Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Hair Oil @ Barneys

Rodin's Olio Lusso hair oil is a beast.  The contents of this unassuming little bottle can single-handedly tackle the duties of conditioner, styling aid, scalp treatment, and split end repair, all while smelling like a little piece of heaven.  Formulated with a blend of eight essential oils - apricot kernel, sunflower seed, calendula, sweed almond, neroli, jojoba, rosemary and juniper - and made in the USA, this one bottle can easily replace no less than three products already in your haircare arsenal.  I use a few drops every day on the ends of my hair after washing (no more split ends) and a couple more to smooth fly-aways after blow drying.  And once a week I apply a full dropper's worth as a deep conditioning treatment (I even massage it into my scalp for a little extra moisture).  I swear, my hair has never looked better.  Since I started using it, I haven't bought replacements for the conditioning mask and glossing cream I used before, and I love this less-is-more approach to beauty.  And it's GREAT for travel.  If I had to, I could make do with just Olio Lusso and shampoo.  This is one of those products where a little goes a long way, and a single ounce could easily last you the better part of a year, although with frequent use one bottle is closer to a six month supply.  I cannot recommend this one enough - it is the one product my hair cannot live without.

xx

  1. I've had this recommended to me for my hair before and I've always wanted to try it but I've never taken the leap. For one, I don't know what it smells like (so buying it online makes me nervous) and two- it seems really expensive. If it works then great but if not? Or I don't like it? I don't know...

    ah!
